North Ridge Expedition on Google Maps

While all of the summit action has been happening on the south, Pakistan side of K2, the North Ridge Expedition have been making progress too. It is unlikey that they will go for the summit in the next few days considering that they need to setup camp 4 at 8000m today and all the effort in doing so.

Maxut Zumayev’s GPS has provided a good reference point to see they have been on the north ridge of K2.

This is a screen shot from where they reached yesterday.
